Roaring Rockets Character Sheets

Standups
Standups are little cardboard standups you can use instead of metal figures to keep track of where everyone is. This is a print & play game, so we give you everything you need. Use the one that matches your character sheet, and color it to match. Or you can use a little metal figurine. Standups work best printed on heavy cardstock from a rear-feed printer, but they work well with whatever you have. Most fold along the short edge to give you both sides, but the ones with speeder-bikes fold along the long edge. They stand up on their own OK, but work better with stands. Stands are available in the Internet and are called "game card stands".
A 1 page character background handout
A quick reference for people who already know how to make characters.

There are three types of character sheets:
- Archetypes are premade characters based on science fiction archetypes from 100 years ago (the pulp era), all they need is a name and a background. Coloring the artwork later is a big plus.
- Stereotypes conform to the fiction stereotypes of 100 years ago (the pulp era). The archetypes are all stereotype characters.
- Generic characters do not conform to many stereotypes and are fully customizable.

Generic character sheets
Use extra sheets to keep your character sheet neat and tidy
Backside: The best thing to put on the back is character background
Equipment list (generic): A place to write down all the stuff your character has
Equipment list (male): It has starter men's equipment on it already
Equipment list (female): It has starter women's equipment on it already
Experience points & money: This one changes a lot. Its good to put this stuff on a sheet of their own
Decorations: A place to record any decorations & decoration points for characters who get them

Loaners
Sometimes you need a character who will only be used for one game. These loaners are 100% premade and ready to go. They are melodrama characters: they never change, get experience, get new possessions, and so forth. You can loan them to someone else in another game even if something bad happens to them.
