A man, a woman, and three aliens

These adventures are mostly one-shot adventures, most of them are not connected to other adventures in any way.

Read this to save time

These adventures are genre-specific. They will not work well for other game systems. All of these adventures need a pulp science fiction genre with 1930s western culture. Play Roaring Rockets if you want to use them; the rules are only 16 pages.

Starter adventures

RRADV_Muck: A new colony has bug-eyed monster problems. The characters are sent to deal with it. Suitable for first-time players who know little about the game. 1-2 sittings, lots of problem solving, a little combat. There must be at least 3 characters; at least one man, at least one woman. In Capricorn.

RRADV_Training_cruise: The characters go on a training cruise and have some unexpected happenings. Suitable for first-time players who have read the introduction. It can also be a shakedown cruise for experienced characters breaking in a new space ship. 1-2 sittings, a little space combat, a little fighting. There must be at least 3 characters; at least one man, at least one woman. Near Earth.

RRADV_Turret: This is a very short adventure with one puzzle and one fight. It is suitable for first-time players who know little about the game. One 2 hour sitting. There must be at least 3 characters; at least one man, at least one woman. In Perseus.

RRADV_Things_go_wrong: The characters are attached to the Astro Fleet, operating against the Shelks, and receive a distress call. This makes a good second or third adventure. 2-3 sittings, some fighting, emotionally tough because of a setback early in the adventure. There must be at least 3 characters, no gender requirements. In Puppis.

Intermediate adventures

RRADV_Contraire: A low-tech planet a makes a cultural attack on the Earth. The characters are sent to investigate the shenanigans. 2-3 sittings, some fighting, role-playing required, snarky cultural commentary. Three character minimum, no gender requirements. In Bootis.

RRADV_Gristle: The characters are assigned to what may be the worst supervisor in the Space Rangers. They are told to do the wrong thing, but can they turn it into a victory? Can be done in one sitting, but leave plenty of time for wrap-up (2 sittings suggested). Three character minimum, no gender requirements. Some combat and problem solving. In Serpens.

RRADV_Humperflindel: An ambassador requests help with a local problem. Two sittings. Three character / one woman minimum. Some combat and plenty of problem solving. In Centaurus.

RRADV_Hyperbola: A prince & princess are missing and probably kidnapped. The players must find them in time to stop a war. 2-3 sittings, plenty of combat. There must be at least 4 characters; at least two men, at least one woman. Role-playing required. In Reticulum.

RRADV_Obelisk: The characters must travel from Earth to the frontier to learn the secrets of a mysterious object. About 2 sittings, lots of problem solving, some combat, role-playing required. Three characters minimum, at least one man and one woman. This adventure goes well before or after RRADV_Stella. In Lepus.

RRADV_Stella: Princess Stella of a low-tech planet wants to bring grievances to the Earth government. The characters are her transportation. 1-2 sittings, lots of problem solving, and combat if things go poorly. Role-playing required. Three characters minimum, at least one man and one woman. This adventure goes well before or after RRADV_Obelisk. In Phoenix.

RRADV_Toilet_bowl: The toilet bowl adventure is an opportunity for the characters to redeem themselves after messing up and getting in trouble. Problem solving required. No manpower or gender requirements. In Grus.

Advanced adventures

RRADV_Cosmogenrequital: The characters are sent to arrest a mad scientist. High-reward, but serious consequences for at least one character. 1-2 sittings, fights & puzzles. There must be at least 3 characters; at least one man and at least one woman required. This is a good adventure if one or more characters plan to retire. In Sagittarius.

RRADV_Medifactor: A suspicious looking cult starts on the Earth. The characters are sent to investigate. High-stakes, high-risk, high-reward. 2-3 sittings, a little space combat, a little fighting, problem solving, role-playing required. There must be at least 4 characters; at least one man and at least one woman required. Starts near Earth.

Adventure bits

These are small adventure components that can be inserted into a full-length adventure.

RRADVBIT_Helmet: A bad guy has a mysterious helmet. +10 minutes.

RRADVBIT_Tommy: The character's travel plans are complicated by springtailed tommyknockers. +30 minutes. There must be at least one man and one woman.

Adventure series (short campaigns)

These are multi-adventure series. The series is numbered instead of named in the file name for brevity. So RRADVSER_1A is the first adventure in series 1, RRADVSER_1B is the second, and so forth.

RRADVSER_1: The Doctor Magus campaign is an advanced adventure series.

The Doctor Magus campaign is an advanced adventure series. The adventures must be done in order, but other adventures may be interspersed between (it will play slightly better if they are). Do not tell the players that they are playing these adventures, or that the adventures are part of a series.
There must be at least 4 characters; at least one man, at least one woman. This series has difficult problem solving and hard fights. Tactical planning and role-playing are required. Do not run this adventure series on a group that is unlikely to succeed at any of these things.
The last adventure (1E) is a recovery adventure in case things go poorly. It can also be used as a recovery adventure in other campaigns.

RRADVSER_2: The Dirt campaign is an intermediate adventure series.

The Dirt campaign is an intermediate adventure series. The Dirt adventures must be done consecutively and in order. There must be at least 4 characters; at least one man, at least one woman. Dirt has puzzles, fights and opportunities for the characters to be heroes.

RRADV__Villain_folio: These villains are based on villains from pulp science fiction works with expired copyrights, and are not used in any of the adventures that come with Roaring Rockets. The make good recurring villains.

Game masters eyes only: The adventures are password protected against accidental viewing with the password "gamemaster". It is one word, all lower case, no quotes.
